Architectural photographer based in Manchester, UK. Born and raised in Bialystok - the capital of the charming Podlasie region in North East Poland, where he also studied Architecture and Urban Planning at Bialystok University of Technology. Pawel's works mostly feature contemporary architecture, but he also admires historical buildings. He often travels independently through the world, in a quest to find interesting constructions. He always tries to show the subject in a wider context to reveal the relationship with surroundings, and to illustrate how people interact with the place. He aims to capture visitors’ emotions while they explore the building as well as to show his own feelings about the scene. Thanks to his fine arts background he has possessed empathy and particular appreciation of light, colour and composition. The interplay between light and designed structure plays an immense role in his perception of space. As a result, he presents an atmosphere of the place in his photographs and stimulates viewers’ memories, feelings and imagination. Owing to his architectural education and experience, he has a deep knowledge of the built environment, which helps him to understand a design and clients’ needs. With true attention to detail and high personal standards, he cherishes the high-quality work and creates unique, compelling presentations of physical structures. These are photographs that add value to every space and showcase buildings in their best light.
